in some specifications you can use emojis with double colons :wave: this is a common method of inserting emojis such as on Discord, or github markdown.

With UTF support you can now just directly insert emojis onto documents as well: 👋🏻️

in Vimwiki the double colon syntax is actually used to indicate tags
